Scholarship Details:
The Boober Product Market Value Micro-Scholarship is a $250 award designed to support business students who are exploring how to assess the market value of a specific product that a company offers—something that could realistically be sold, transferred, or validated in a marketplace.
Eligibility
-
Open to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a business school program.
-
Applicants must demonstrate an interest in product valuation, entrepreneurship, or market analysis.
Application Requirements
Assess Boober Co's Evaluation and Formula regarding market evaluation. Agree or Disagree with said evaluation and defend your stance. Choose a specific product (either from a real company or a hypothetical startup). Analyze how its market value could be determined, transferred, or validated in a real marketplace. This includes, but not limited to: products in the market, as well as prototype designs, patents, sales/transfers, and or royalty evaluation. Additionally, address how relevant a product market valuation extends comparable sales to include a validation of market potential. In your answer, consider supply/demand factors, comparable sales, customer perception, and any unique value drivers. Your goal is to show how market value is established for a tangible offering that could actually be bought or sold.
